1. Data controller

The data controller is Bouvera Dairy Consulting, an independent dairy consultancy based in Sweden (currently operated as a sole activity, not yet incorporated as a company). Contact: contact@bouvera.com.

2. What we collect

Contact & booking forms: name, email, farm name, message, preferred consultation format and date.
Community signup: name, email, farm, country, discipline of interest.
AI consultant chat: the messages you send are transmitted to our AI provider to generate a response. Conversations are not stored beyond the browser session unless you explicitly save them.
Technical data: IP address and basic request metadata, processed only as needed to operate the site securely.

3. Lawful basis (GDPR Art. 6)

Consent — cookies beyond strictly necessary, community sign-up.
Contract / pre-contract — handling consultation requests and communication.
Legitimate interest — securing and improving the site.

4. How we use your data

To reply to your enquiry, deliver the consulting service you requested, run the community, and generate AI answers. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.

5. Processors

We use Lovable Cloud (backend hosting, database) and Lovable's AI Gateway (AI responses). Data may be processed in the EU and, for the AI provider, transferred to the US under standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention

Contact & booking messages: up to 24 months, then deleted.
Community membership: until you ask us to remove you.
AI chat: not persisted server-side.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to processing. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY). To exercise any of these rights, email contact@bouvera.com.
